Immunology and Inflammation
Mouse model of chemotherapy induced enteritis
Principle Mice are injected intraperitoneally with a dose of 5-FU to induce chemotherapy-induced enteritis and to simulate post-chemotherapy conditions observed in human.
Sample requirements Adult Balb/c mice
Service cycle 10 business days
Technical indicators 1) Customers can choose the gender of mice. The symptoms in male mice are more serious than those in female mice; 2) The testing services include DAI (disease activity index) evaluation and pathological testing.
Mouse model of inflammatory bowel disease
Principle Acute/chronic enteritis is induced in mice by administering different doses of DSS (sodium dextran sulfate) solution to mice. Mechanism: Inflammatory bowel disease may be caused by multiple factors, such as intestinal barrier damage caused by DSS, dysfunction of macrophages, and dysbacteriosis, and may also be related to the regulation of Th1 and Th2 cells.
Sample requirements Balb/c mice of 8 weeks old
Service cycle 9 business days for acute enteritis and 21 business days for chronic enteritis
Technical indicators 1) Customers can choose the gender of mice. The symptoms in male mice are more serious than those in female mice; 2) The testing services include DAI (disease activity index) evaluation and pathological testing.
